After arrival in Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, once you collect all your luggage and go to "Arrivals" Section of the Airport, our "Meeter" will meet you in the Airport holding a board with our Company Logo and your Name written on it. She or He will escort you to the vehicle and will take you to your hotel to Check-in to your room and rest for a day to get over the jetlag and gather strength until beginning your adventure.
After Having a Breakfast in your hotel in Yerevan, meet your Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby and Start a City Tour in Yerevan.
Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, is one of the most ancient cities in the world, according to historical studies, Yerevan is older than Rome and Athens, and its history is 2800 years old. Our city tour will start from the statue a of Mother Armenia one of the tallest statues in Yerevan. Overall, the monument together with the statue is 51 meters high. From there you can enjoy the beauty of all Yerevan. Continue tour to Cascade Complex you will see the new breath of Armenian Architecture, Cascade has 572 steps and offers a complete city view from top. Afterwards we will continue walking and pass through Opera and Ballet house a masterpiece of AleksandrTamanyan. Which awarded for the prize in the worldwide exhibition of Paris. Right next to Opera house you will see Northern Avenue where you will pass through business centers, restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, boutiques, souvenir shops, squares, people call it a “City within the city”. Our last stop will be Republic Square with it’s unique architecture and singing fountains. Which people also call “the heart of Yerevan”.
After the busy day you we will go to your hotel in Yerevan and have a rest for the following day.
After having a breakfast in your hotel in Yerevan you will meet your driver and guide in your hotel lobby. The tour starts with Garni Pagan temple. The temple dedicated to the Armenian sun god Mihr. Built in the middle of the 1st century CE, the Temple of Garni remarkably survived the destruction of pagan temples following Armenia's conversion to Christianity in the 4th century CE,
Afterwards we will continue tour to the Geghard Monastery. Geghard (Armenian: "the spear") is a medieval monastery located in Armenia’s Kotayk province, Geghard is renown throughout Armenia for its medieval art and architecture, and local traditions associate the site with Saint Gregory the Illuminator (c. 257 – c. 331 CE) who came to the area to found a small Christian chapel in the 4th century CE. Geghard’s name attests to the former presence of a spear that supposedly pierced the body of Jesus Christ while he was crucified.
After Geghard monastery we will continue our tour to Tsaghkadzor which means the ''Gorge of Flowers''. Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort, is a sports and tourists facilities located just above the Armenian town of Tsaghkadzor of Kotayk Province, it was opened in 1986 adjacent to the Tsaghkadzor Olympic Sports Complex. Alongside the winter sports, here you can enjoy a cable car and get a fantastic view of Beautify Armenian nature.
After enjoying the Ski resort, we will drive back to your hotel in Yerevan.
After Having a Breakfast in your hotel, you will start the tour with lake Sevan and Sevanavank - a monastic complex dated back to 874 A.D. The two churches of the complex, Lake Sevan is the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region.
Our Next stop will be HaghartsinMonastery. Haghartsin monastery belongs to those architectural pieces that were built in the 12th-13th centuries. On the southern side of the monastery flows River Haghartsin. Haghartsin in Armenian translates as ''Game of Eagles'‘.
Later, we will continue our tour passing through the forests of Dilijan National Park, while enjoying fresh air and beauty of nature we will reach Lake Parz («Clear Lake») The Lake Parz is located at the altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. It has its unique green color. The lake looks amazing in any weather and has a very calming aura. Lake Parz also offers travelers several fun activities. Though it's not allowed to swim in the lake you can still get from one side to another on a boat. On the other hand, Parz Lake Extreme Park offers you to spend nice time by experiencing zip-line that passes over the lake. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the bird’s-eye view. Another exciting and fun activity is the rope park, often enjoyed by children and adults alike.
Later after a memorable trip to Dilijan, you will head back to your hotel in Yerevan to rest for the following day.
After the breakfast in your hotel, you will meet your guide and driver in your hotel lobby and starts the tour with the oldest Christian temple in Armenia from Echmiadzin Cathedral (4th c.),the most important religious and holy center for all Armenians. Around the cathedral you can see the first Armenian printing house, Gevorkian Theological Seminary unique Khachkars created by Armenian masters. Continue tour to Armenian Alphabet monument witch includes sculptures of 39 letters of Armenian alphabet, as well as monuments to the great Armenian thinkers. All the letters and statues are made of Armenian Tufa. Enjoy breathtaking view of mount Aragats the highest pick of Armenia which coverd with eternal snow (4090m) we will continue our tour to Stone lake (3200m). Near the lake we will see unique monument of pre-historic time, called ''Vishapaqar'' (dragon stone).These are big stones which were put near sources of water, as part of the worship of the water. Here at the altitude of 2300m, on high cliff surrounded with deep gorges of rivers lies medieval Ambert fortress constructed in the (7th c.) Which became the military defense center of the Pahlavuni and Bagratuni kingdoms, as well as the summer residence of the rulers.
After this historic tour, you will drive back to Yerevan and have a rest for the following day.
After the breakfast in your hotel, you will meet your guide and driver in your hotel lobby and start driving to the arresting Waterfall of Shaki is located in Vorotan Canyon. The height of this waterfall is18 mand it offers a breathtaking views of natural beauty to the travelers.
Later, you will continue the tour and visit ''ZoratsKarer'‘ (Armenian: Stones of Power). It’s name can be explained by the fact that the stones are situated on one the most energetic points of the planet. ZoratsKarer served as an observatory back to the 3rd millenium BC. Enjoying stunning beauty of Syunik province we will reach the 160-meter long and weight 14 tons ''Hanging'' or ''Swinging'' bridge that connects the two banks of the villages. The bridge offers an amazing view on over the old caves , which were populated centuries ago. Our last stop in Syunik province will be the famous Tatev Monastery, a center of education and religion in the Middle Ages. The aerial tram holds the Guinness title as the longest nonstop double-track cable car in the world ''Wings of Tatev''. The cableway soars over the deep Vorotan River Gorge, offering breathtaking views of the landscape as you approach the monastery, which sits perched on a large plateau at the edge of a cliff over the stunning gorge. The monastery complex dates back to the 9th century and is an architectural and historical icon of Armenia, though the structure itself can be overshadowed by the out-of-a-fairytale natural landscape that surrounds it.
After that you will head back to your hotel in Yerevan
After Having a Breakfast in your hotel, We will start our tour with the most visited pilgrimage site in Armenia once held a saint in a pit for 13 years ,the place is called KhorVirap. Originally established in 642 CE, the KhorVirap (Armenian for “deep dungeon”) Monastery did not take on its current and final incarnation until the 17th century, but even before its founding the former prison site was notable for holding the man who would become Saint Gregory the Illuminator in a pit for 13 years before he helped turn the country into the first Christian nation. Also the walled, religious complex stands before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat, offering a spectacular view of the mountain and cutting a striking silhouette in and of itself. Continue our tour Areni Winery we will pass through Ararat province full of vineyards.
Above the Armenian town of Areni in the VayotsDzor province, the Areni Cave Complex has proven to be a treasure trove of Copper Age artifacts including the oldest shoe, brain, and winery in the world! Ever-giving Areni caves consist of a number of burial sites dating back to 5000 - 4000 BCE. After driving 20 minutes from Areni we will reach to our last stop Noravank monastery. Built in the 13th century, the monastery is a lovely example of the ornate architecture of the period. The site is comprised of three surviving churches, each decorated in intricate designs and religious reliefs.
After Visiting these Famous sites of VayotsDzor Province, you will head back to your hotel in Yerevan and have a rest for the following day.
Depending on your flight schedule you will have a breakfast in your hotel and Check-out From your hotel room, by 12:00 PM at Afternoon at the latest. You can Leave your Luggage in your Hotel Lobby and roam around the city, buy souvenirs or spend free time as you will. 3 Hours Early before your Departure Flight the Driver will arrive at your hotel lobby, you will collect your luggage and he will take you to the Airport for your Departure Flight.
